Since June of 2015 I have worked as the Gallery Coordinator for Overture Galleries I, II & III at Overture Center for the Arts. A forum for diverse artistic expression, Overture Galleries strives to exhibit work from both professional and developing artists, as well as local art organizations and community projects. As the primary contact for all exhibitors, I manage the exhibition process from the introductory meeting with the artists to the resulting installation and reception.
After spending about one year in my role for Overture Galleries, I lead a systems analysis of the gallery process and implemented a project management tool (Asana) to improve communication between stakeholders and streamline the exhibition plan. This tool replaced an older paper system, and reduced redundancy and increased productivity. The poster to the right details this process.
